While it is highly unlikely that I will read this offering, I was disturbed by the article linked above. Disturbed because for the first time, I knowingly agreed with something a Clinton said. This in regards to her judgement that Bill’s affair with Monica (whose book I received as a gift, but oddly have not read…) was morally wrong but not a betrayal of the public. Well said.
My position was always that, yes, Slick Willy was scum, should never have been elected, and shouldn’t have lied on the stand, but neither should he ever have been asked the Paula Jones question. Too bad the Republicans and Ken Starr didn’t choose to take this view.
