by When Indiana passed a new voter ID law recently the liberal left was up in arms about all the poor, helpless, presumedly liberal voters who would be "disenfranchised" by having to demonstrate they were who they said they were.
Now it seems that the Indiana law was prescient and that liberals need to add a pair of new categories of voters to those whose support they have – the fraudulent and the non-existent.
…we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
I wonder who the fine folks at ACORN have been registering… Paul Ogden says:
Obviously the effort at eliminating duplicate registrations is not working well. Bloated registration rolls lead to the possibility of election fraud and undermines the confidence in the integrity of the electoral process. This is a situation that needs to be addressed by state and county election officials.
To say the least. Meanwhile, Missouri election officials have found hundreds of questionable registrations in Kansas City alone. The left won’t rest until Barack Obama is president, it seems, no matter what they have to do to make it happen.
These cases – and many, many more like them – demonstrate the need for voter ID laws in every state.
