Daylight Wasting Time

One of the bane’s of my existence, in an obviously otherwise charmed life, is nearly upon us: the falling back to non-daylight savings time. I despise the fall-back to waking up in broad daylight and driving home in the darkness.

Seems I’m not the only one. Indeed, it’s not just a few crackpots who can’t stand this irritating disruption to our lives. Read another take. And another.

The bottom line is that it is an antiquated waste of time and a general nuisance. The irony is that given the ubiquity of computer software in our society, it may be forever too late to rid ourselves of this irritation.
