New York unveils groundbreaking plan for free college

We do not believe in free college as a principle: It costs taxpayers a lot of money to run universities and the people who use them should pay a larger percentage of the cost; i.e., tuition. However… We highly encourage states that think differently to give the idea a try. Hopefully it will be a success and we would be happy to be wrong if more young people can get a college education without raising taxes on everyone else. States Rights. What an idea!
