Here’s the best reason why not: American voters want to decide this spectacle – the most interesting and perhaps most important contest to take place in decades – by themselves.
And rightly so. The last thing America needs is a bunch of uber-party dudes duking it out in a back room across the street from the Capitol building.
CNN’s Oregon voter poll shows 62 percent say they’ll be satisfied if the campaign continues.
